Nishikawa Ramen finely balances tradition with innovation. Their menu boasts a variety of both pork-based and chicken-based ramens, with remarkable broths and quality ingredients. The Nishikawa Black ramen stands out with its rich pork broth, tender pork chashu, and aromatic black garlic oil, a dish highly praised by returning customers. Other noteworthy options include:

  • Miso Ramen: A creamy concoction featuring pork chashu, green onion, and corn, served with curved noodles for just $16.95.
  • Tonkotsu Ramen: A traditional favorite that balances depth and richness, ideal for those seeking comfort in a bowl, priced at $16.95.
  • Curry Chicken Ramen: An adventurous twist with its curry broth and juicy chicken breast for only $17.95.

Vegetarian options are also available, including the delightful Veggie Miso, which offers a balanced taste of earthy flavors for $15.95. Many reviews highlight the authenticity of the flavors, making it clear that Nishikawa Ramen takes its culinary craft seriously.

But it’s not just the ramen that captivates patrons; side dishes like gyoza and takoyaki also draw rave reviews. One diner remarked, “Their flavors were delicious and authentic,” attesting to the chefs' commitment to quality.

The ambiance at Nishikawa Ramen adds to the experience. Described as quaint and cozy, it creates a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a hearty meal. Gracie G. mentions how the service is consistent and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, due to its limited seating, it’s advisable to call ahead during peak hours.

While some feedback suggests that certain dishes could be enhanced—like the quality of noodles or the occasional mishap with takoyaki—the general consensus is overwhelmingly positive. As Steve M. noted, “The broth was tasty, and it was spicy to my liking,” showing that even those with discerning palates find satisfaction here.

Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through, Nishikawa Ramen promises a culinary experience that’s well worth your time. As the evenings grow cooler, nothing warms the soul quite like a bowl of their steaming ramen. Dive into a bowl of warmth and flavor at Nishikawa Ramen—you won't be disappointed!

Love coming here! The food is always good and the service is good since it's a small place. We like to come here every few weeks and get their ramen! I just tried their taro milk tea and it was delicious! I also enjoy the melon soda.

I brought my Fiance in here for dinner after picking her up from the airport. I was thoroughly impressed with their Ramen. Their flavors were delicious and authentic in both bowls we had ordered. I had ordered mild heat and for once I agreed with the heat which is hard to do sometimes at these ramen spots. We ordered the gyoza and chicken appetizers and both were delicious and fresh. We had ordered Takoyaki and it was inedible. It tasted old and like it had been refried. It was chewy, fishy and not good so they took it off my bill when I had mentioned it... I think. I did deduct a star for that, but me giving 4 stars for a Ramen restaurant in Arizona is a feat in itself as I have been in some of the best Ramen places in Southern California. The inside is small and quaint so I would definitely call ahead before you have to wait. I will come back and try more items when I'm in the mood for Ramen. Keep up the good work!

I visited Nishikawa Ramen on a Monday night around 6pm. The restraunt was busy at this time with almost all the seating being used. My waitress came by fairly quickly and was very friendly. I ordered the Tonkontsu Ramen, extra spicy. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to arrive. The ramen was very good, broth was tasty, and it was spicy to my liking. The 1 thing i think could be improved would be the quality of the noodles. They were a little thin, although they make up for it by giving you a little more in your bowl than other restraunts. The total cost came to $16.29 and was well worth it. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Stopped in today for lunch....ordered the Nishikawa Black Ramen and Gyoza! My go to. Everything was delicious. Ramen is really good here. I highly recommend this spot. Gyoza is so good...steamed and then fried it seems...soft and crisp. Place is comfortable and service is great. I'll definitely be back!

We were running errands in the area and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. On this visit, we decided to share the pork gyoza and curry ramen with bean sprouts and pork chashu. The pork gyoza was good, it had the right amount of crisp to it, had flavorful filling and the skin wasn't too thick. The curry ramen was hearty and very filling, the flavor of the broth wasn't too strong but still had a nice kick to it. Overall, the service was fast and efficient. With the ambiance being very casual and low-key. This is a solid spot if you're looking for a quick, hearty meal that offers generous portions for the price in the area.

My dad was craving ramen while we were in Phoenix and after searching a bunch of different menus, this place spoke to him. He got the miso ramen with medium spice and hard boiled egg and he loved it! He said that it has so much flavor and definitely hit the spot. They had a good lunch special where he got the ramen, gyoza, and a drink for $17.95. The gyoza was great and so was the ika geso. I got the katsu bowl and it was ok but I kinda regretted not getting ramen also. I'm gonna try this place again and get one of their ramen dishes. Parking was easy with a private lot shared with other businesses. Service was great. It wasn't too busy since we went for lunch a little later than usual but the waitress was working solo and was able to keep up with all the tables. She also made recommendations that would be more cost effective...I love that! Will definitely be back!

We often order from here and have eaten at the establishment. Service is prompt which I appreciate. The ramen broth is delicious here, I always get the spicy tonkotsu or ask them to make the black garlic spicy. I also prefer the curvy noodles. Like others have said, the issue is if you come from a bigger city with amazing epic ramen, this is above average but not the best you've had. But it'll hit the spot when you need it to! Especially as we enter cooler months!
